The TPI’s UK Sector Productivity Scorecard provides a comparative assessment of labour productivity performance by UK industries (e.g. manufacturing, services sectors, etc). It helps the TPI's audience assess the relative productivity drivers and drawbacks of growth (or lack of it), helps to identify challenges that needto be addressed and sources of growth in industries to engage with the business community. Visualising UK productivity data on the level of economic sectors can support different perspectives and analysis of labourproductivity in the UK. The scorecard evaluates four productivity driver categories each representing a cluster of economic indicators pertinent to productivity performance of sectors.

▪ Direct Capital Inputs: Capital & Investment
▪ Indirect Drivers: Innovation, Technology, Market Exposure, other structural dynamics (could be
added in the future)
