Productivity Datasets

This page provides an overview databases related to productivity. Please contact us if you would like your dataset to be added to this list.

The datasets can be filtered along the following dimensions:

  1. Regional aggregation: Regional, National, or International datasets
  2. Economic scale: Firm-level, Industry-level, National-level
  3. Time frequency: Annual, Quarterly, Monthly
  4. Data source: TPI, ONS, OECD

The Productivity Lab is the main outlet for data sets that are funded and produced by The Productivity Institute. These datasets are hosted on the Figshare platform where users can make all of their research outputs available in a citable, shareable and discoverable manner. Figshare supports and provides a number of important features for hosting research data:

  • Open access
  • Clear meta descriptions and terms of use
  • Unique identifiers (DOI)
  • Version control for updated releases
  • Keeps track of citations and file downloads

The TPI datasets are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Please ensure that references to the accompanying papers are made when using the data.
